Sharon Brown

Mrs. Sharon Lee Brown, 78, of Salisbury, Maryland passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at AnMed Health Medical Center. She was born on February 5, 1947 to the late Betty Ann Birckhead.

Sharon was a great and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met and came in contact with. She enjoyed cooking, daytime soap operas, and gaming shows.

Words from her family were, " Mom was always a hard worker and proud of her family", "She loved talking junk to everybody", and "Gram you gave me wisdom that only time could bring. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Caroll Ann Jones (Roy); son, Ernest Brown Jr.; granddaughters, Shante "Money" Brown, Courtney "Pete" Brown, Wishonna Bernard, La'Tisha "Heidi" Barton, Love Ella "Squeaky" Brown; grandsons, Dimiere "Tray" Brown and Kareem "Shane" Brown; great-grandchildren, Aiden "PJ" Sullivan, Camden "Farmer" Terry, Saige Brown, Te'Shan "Porty" Bowman and Benson "Ben-Ben" Thomas; sister, Betty Pinkett, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Brown Sr., mother, Betty Ann Birckhead and brother Spencer Birckhead

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.  Public viewing Monday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
